I can’t believe how fast fall is going this year! It makes me a bit sad since it’s my favorite season and I’m not ready for winter to come at all. This fall I’ve been loving a top that screams fall when you see it. Since fall is going so quickly, I thought I better share it with you now before it’s too late and you’re onto winter clothes. Fyi, this top is another item I scored from Loft. Sorry if you’re getting sick of me talking about Loft, but they’ve just had so many cute clothes and major sales this season!
Today we’re bring you another fall post! Hopefully you’re not sick of them yet! Fall is our favorite season in general, but it’s also our favorite season fashion-wise. We love the style of clothes, shoes, and accessories, as well as the colors. Fall is the one season that we don’t get sick of styling outfits for over time. Today, we’re going to tell you what are top fall fashion favorites are this year so far!
Sweater weather is officially back here in Minnesota after some hot and humid days! Today I’m going to be sharing with you another teacher style of mine that is so easy to recreate! This outfit is perfect for days when you want to be warm and comfortable yet still look put together.
I use to shop at the LOFT outlet quite frequently, but hadn’t shopped there in a couple years. Recently I had been seeing some fashion bloggers posting really cute stuff from LOFT on Instagram, so I decided to check it out when I heard about a sale they were having! LOFT recently had a sale where everything on the site was 40% off with the code OHYES. With fall coming up and that great deal, I decided to take full advantage and stock up on some tops and sweaters.
Now there are some even better sales and deals on LOFT! Right now a lot of fully priced styles are 60% off, including the majority of what I ordered! I might have to do another order since there are even better deals now! Now let’s get into the Loft haul:
For this “What We WoreWednesday” post Rachel will be sharing her outfit!

Yesterday was a perfect spring day! We had sunny warm weather so I decided to break out a fun, bright skirt outfit.
I bought my top and skirt while I was in New York City and have been looking for the perfect opportunity to break it out and yesterday was definitely that day! I love the unique color of this skirt, as well as the length. I decided to pair it with a statement necklace from J. Crew to give the top part of my outfit a little pop. I knew I would be doing a lot of running around yesterday, since I had a lot going on, so I picked my comfy Talaria flats to complete my outfit!
I hope you have a great day!
With Rachel being home for Easter weekend, we were able to spend the whole day together on Friday. We both love baking, so we started off our morning by baking some donuts. We tried out two donut recipes from Sally’s Baking Addiction. You can find the chocolate donut recipe here and the funfetti donut recipe here.
We had a lot of fun making these donuts and they were quite simple to make! Our favorite were the chocolate glazed donuts. We think the funfetti donuts would be better with less sprinkles in the batter.
After baking and breakfast, we planned on going shopping and out for lunch. Here are our outfits from the day!
|Francesca’s top| Loft outfit (?) scarf| American Eagle jeggings| Red Dress Boutique booties|
|Express tank top| J.Crew Factory necklace| American Eagle jeggings| TJ Maxx flats|
We headed to our local mall first for a little shopping. American had BOGO so we couldn’t resist buying a few clothing items from there. Michelle with being her indecisive self decided to buy a new dress for Easter from Francesca’s. We also made a stop at TJ maxx. We each got a new small cross body purse. Rachel stocked up on one of our favorite Dry Shampoos and Michelle bought an artificial flower arrangement.
For lunch we went to one of our favorite restaurants, The Loop. Instead of ordering entrees, we decided to share some appetizers. We went with chicken tenders, cheese curds and wings! They were all very delicious. Our favorite is definitely the cheese curds because they are served with siracha ketchup, which makes them so much better! Needless to say, we were very full afterwards.
We’ve really been enjoying our weekend together! It’s our last time together until Rachel is done with school for the year. We can’t wait to spend the summer together! Keep an eye out for our Easter post tomorrow!

Over the weekend I went to New York City with my sisters and mom. While there we went to Broadway shows, went to the Empire State Building, and of course did some shopping! This video has some of the goodies I got!
Hope you enjoyed!
