Gymshark Review: Fitness Apparel

Since I’m big into running, I’m always looking for new workout clothes to try.  In today’s blog post, I’m going to give you my honest review on a new brand that I stumbled across.  I found out about Gymshark a few months ago through Instagram. A couple of the fitness accounts I follow, wear their products religiously when working out. I had gone back and forth about getting some to try out and finally broke down and got some! I bought three products from Gymshark. I got the high-waisted seamless cropped leggings in blueberry marl and black marl. I also bought the serene sports crop top in black.  Now let’s get into the review.  I’m going to give my thoughts on the price and quality, as well as my overall thoughts.

About the Brand

Gymshark is a fitness apparel and accessories brand for both men and women based in the United Kingdom. It is an online retailer started in 2012 by Ben Francis. Even though they do not have any stores, I suggest following the brand on social media because they will do pop up shops in large cities.

The price is reasonable considering the quality of product you receive. It’s more in the middle price range when it comes to workout leggings.  I had no issue paying this amount especially compared to Lulu Lemon prices. Plus even though this is a UK brand, you can still receive free shipping on orders of $75.00 or more!

First off, the leggings passed the squat test!  One of the biggest things I look for in leggings is that they’re thick enough so you can’t see anything through them. These are definitely thick enough and feel amazing on. When it comes to the crop top I have some mixed feelings. I wish it was a little thicker or had padding. I have to wear a sports bra underneath it, which I don’t like with the mesh back.

Overall Thoughts

After working out in these for a couple months I would definitely buy more products from Gymshark. I’ve had no issues with my leggings stretching out after wearing and washing them. They also stay up nicely while running and doing other workouts. If I had the sports crop top purchase to do over again I would have gone with another top that didn’t have a mesh back. I love my leggings and definitely plan on getting more!

Here are some items I’m eyeing up for my next purchase!
