Favorite Fall & Halloween Recipes

We absolutely love baking and cooking during the fall season and for Halloween!  They are so many tasty and easy fall recipes out there.  We’re always looking to try a new recipe or two, at least, each time fall rolls around.  We’ve compiled our top favorite fall and Halloween recipes for you in today’s post.  The best part about these recipes is that not only are they delicious, but they are super easy to make!

Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili

This crock pot chicken taco chili is one of those recipes where you throw all of the ingredients in the crock pot in the morning.  Then you have a delicious meal by the evening with no prep.  We love this recipe for leftovers.  It’s also quite healthy without the added toppings!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread/Muffins

We could go on and on about how amazing this recipe is!  You can bake either bread or muffins with it.  We do both depending on what we’re in the mood for.  This pumpkin chocolate chip bread is so delicious and easy to make.  If you do bake muffins with this recipe instead of bread, just cut the baking time in half!

Caramel Apple Spice Thumbprints

We tried this recipe for the first time this fall.  It’s from Sally’s Baking Addiction, like the above recipe.  We’ve never tried a Sally’s recipe that hasn’t turned out or been delicious.  This recipe was definitely no exception!  As Rachel said, it’s basically fall in a cookie!  You need to try it!  It’s one of those cookies that you just can’t stop at one.

Halloween Puppy Chow

Note on this recipe: We use Honey Nut Chex for the cereal and we don’t use vanilla.
To make your puppy chow Halloween themed, just add Halloween sprinkles and candy.  You can really do it however you want.  For ours, we added sprinkles, orange Kit Kat’s, and pumpkins.  Adding the candy and sprinkles, gives this yummy go-to recipe a little different flavor!

Nutter Butter Ghosts
Frightfully Easy Ghost Cookies
Recipe found here
We’ve been making these Nutter Butter ghost cookies with our mom since we were little!  It’s definitely tradition that we have to make them every year around Halloween or else it just doesn’t feel right.  This recipe is so simple with just three ingredients and hardly any prep at all.  Plus, this makes it fun to make with kids!

Goosebumps Punch

This is another recipe that we tried out for the first time this fall.  We made this drink one weekend when we had our nephew over for a slumber party.  We had so much fun making and drinking this punch with him.  The punch did taste quite good too!

We would love to try out a few more fall and Halloween recipes out this year!  Hopefully we get a chance before time runs out.  This fall season seems to be going extra quickly.  We wish it would slow down a bit!  Let us know if you try any of these recipes and what your thoughts are!  We would love to know your favorite fall and Halloween recipes too!
