Let’s Talk Face Masks

Over the last several months Rachel and I have slowly become obsessed with face masks.  There’s just something about coming home from a stressful day and putting on a face mask.  You instantly feel more relaxed and better about life.  Also, it’s so satisfying seeing  and feeling the (usually) instantaneous results once you remove the face mask.

Today,  I’ve rounded up my current favorite face masks to share with you.  I have so many favorites that I’m going to be sharing eight, yes you read that correctly, eight face masks with you!  I promise you that all of these face masks give you great results!

Now, let’s get into the details on each of these face masks!

Glamglow Gravitymud Firming Treatment Sonic Blue:  This is the Sonic version of the Gravitymud Firming Treatment.  What I love about this mask is the fact that it’s peel off and the mask itself is a gorgeous blue color.  These two features make this mask more fun to use.  The purpose of this mask is to leave the skin tighter and more lifted.  I also love that this product comes with a brush to apply the face mask.

Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment:  This face mask is a clearing treatment used to leave your skin super clear and poreless.  You can use this face mask as an all over face mask or spot treatment.  I mainly use this face mask as a spot treatment when I have any breakouts to help clear them up.  I do use it as a all over face mask sometimes as well.

Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment: This face mask is a lifesaver for my dry skin!  The purpose of this face mask is to moisturize, restore, replenish, and calm the skin.  You can use this as a normal face mask and rinse it off after 10-20 minutes.  However, when I use this face mask I usually use it as an over night face mask so that when I wake up I have hydrated skin.  This is one of my most loved face masks.  I’m almost on my third container of it and use it a couple times a week!

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: This face mask is used to deep clean and reduce pores.  I try to use this mask once a week, but I do mainly go for it when my skin is breaking out and/or feeling blah.  I feel like this mask does a great job at making your skin look and feel better.

Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask: Like the Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment, this face mask is a lifesaver for my dry skin!  When my skin is feeling extra dry and flaky, I use this quick 10 minute mask to hydrate my skin.  This mask smells amazing and leaves my skin softer and more moisturized.

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay: This is another peel off mask that helps purify skin, reduce the appearance of pores, and absorb excess oil.  Once you peel off this 20 minute mask, your pores are visibly reduced.  Your skin also feels smoother and softer.  I mainly use this mask to reduce my pores.

First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Bouncy Mask:  This is my newest face mask purchase and I’m obsessed with it!  I love that you only have to leave this face mask on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off.  This mask has a bouncy, gel like texture and does five things for your skin.  It nourishes, calms, visibly firms, plumps, and refines the skin.  When I use this face mask, my skin looks and feels better right away.  I use this face mask on a regular basis about 2-3 times a week.

Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask:  This clay mask provides the skin with gentle exfoliation and purification.  When I use this face mask, I leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then I massage my skin in circles before rinsing it off.  I love that this face mask leaves my skin feeling smoother, softer, and clearer!  This is another mask that I use on a regular basis about 2-3 times a week.

That wraps up the face mask talk!  Have you tried any of these face masks?  Do you have any favorite face masks that I didn’t talk about?  Share your thoughts and recommendations with me in the comments below!  I’m always looking to try new face masks 🙂

-Michelle
