Casual Winter Vegas OOTD

As you may have seen from our social media, Rachel and I were in Las Vegas this past weekend.  Coming from Minnesota’s cold winter, the weather in Vegas felt perfect to us.  It was around 60 degrees while we were there.  It was a short getaway, but so much fun!  We saw Britney Spear’s show, went to the Neon Museum, saw a Titanic Exhibit, ate lots of good food, and a did a bit of shopping.

I only had one full day in Vegas.  Since I knew I would be doing a lot that day, including walking, I wanted my outfit to be casual yet, put together.  I recently got this lightweight sweater from Dry Goods.  I absolutely love the color of this sweater.  I don’t have any clothes that are this color, and I really like how it looks with my hair.  This sweater is also very comfortable too.  With it being lightweight, it was perfect wearing this without a jacket on a 60 degree day.  For jewelry, I wore this delicate initial necklace from Anthropologie.  My mom got me this necklace for Christmas and I’m in love with it.  It works perfectly with tops like this one where a statement necklace or long necklace don’t work.  I really like how this necklace is layered and can go with anything.  To finish off my look, I wore my nude Sam Edelman ballet flats.  I thought the nude color worked well with my sweater.  These shoes have some cushioning and are very comfortable to wear all day.  If you’re looking for a good pair of flats, I highly suggest these ones.  They come in a lot of colors too!

Let me know what you think of this look!
